Kathleen Razmus

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Kathleen Razmus has worked in the garment care industry for more than 35 years, both as an independent business proprietor and, since 2017, as an invaluable member of the ZIPS team. One of her favorite things about working at ZIPS is sharing the knowledge she has gained throughout her career with others who are eager to learn, especially our newest franchisees. Her consultation is indispensable to the growth of each franchisee’s business.

Kathleen oversees and directs software development, data management, business intelligence analytics, and IT infrastructure, security and support. She and her team interact regularly with vendors to drive progress and source the most cost-effective solutions, help set up our POS network in new stores and ensure all technology runs smoothly once a location opens. Kathleen also works closely with our operations and training teams to enhance and develop features in our proprietary POS software, ZIPSsoft, and to develop effective modules that can acclimate operators to the latest updates. Working closely with our franchisees and other team members on the frontlines alerts her to new ideas to bring back to the corporate team, which, she notes, has yielded some of our most valuable advances in technology and overall operations.

Kathleen loves baseball and on spring and summer evenings, can often be found at Camden Yards cheering on her beloved Baltimore Orioles.
