Brian Wendel

Having joined the ZIPS Cleaners team in July 2025, Brian Wendel oversees all financial aspects of our operations, including conducting our monthly close, offering tax and audit support, and providing strategic financial planning and analysis. His management of our general ledger, including analyses that pinpoint and resolve discrepancies, keeps our records accurate and compliant and ensures that we always have the most up-to-date picture of our financial strength. As a critical component to our everyday and “Big Idea” business decisions, his insights empower our leadership team to move forward confidently in carrying out actions that strengthen our business and our franchisees’ businesses.

Prior to joining our team, Brian was an Accounting Manager with window-replacement company Window Nation and earlier held a similar role with RSM US LLP, a Chicago-based accounting firm. He is a licensed CPA and holds an MS in Accounting and Finance Management from University of Maryland Global Campus.

Brian lives in Monrovia, Md. with his wife and two young children. He enjoys spending time outdoors and usually can be found near water, participating in water sports or playing with his son and daughter.
